Google analytics won't work on Wordpress

I installed a google analytics plugin on wordpress, and for the past 5 days google says it's gathering data. It's only supposed to take 24 hours. Something isn't right. Can anyone help?

 

I personally dont use the plugin. You can also add the code to the footer of the template.

 

Try deleting the url from analytics and reinstalling it.

 

It should work fine. I've been tracking mine for the lat 7 months with no issues.

Yeah, it doesn't work for me either.

 

I had the same problem with my Google Analytics.

I discovered it was the theme I was using. For some reason it made Analytics stop working.

As soon as I switched themes, it started working again.

Try changing your theme and see if it makes a difference...

 

i am using it to track my blog, im using a plugin for it called adsense deluxe ,
upload plugin , activate it ,copy paste your code, save it , as simple as that

 

even its the same for me....google analytics says gathering data...i tried editing also, but no use

 

Mine was working fine then it stopped working even though I saw I was making some cents on adsense and mybloglog showed people visited. It wasn't the theme it was the fact that i switched themes and forgot to add the link. Ooops

So everyone check that too.

It's working great for me....
Just insert the code into footer or header.

 

i've used the plugin - but personally i like to just add teh code to the footer

 

I use this plugin - Another Wordpress Tracker Plugin .This is a good one.
Are you using this one?If not switch to it immediately.It works fine.

 

i use the plugin and it works fpr me. Are you sure you entered the correct tracking number into the "options" section of your WP blog?
