I went on Analytics on Jan 31st, and saw something that seemed unusual. I only have analytics on one page, my home page (usmoneyfacts.com/index.html) However, when I checked "Content Overview" I saw that there was more than just "/index.html" listed, there was: "/~usmoneyf/index.html" What is it? I know I didn't create a page like that (I visited it, and it's the home page). Did Google? I wonder because when I checked to see where the lone visitor came from it was direct.
Most likely this directory was created by your web host. You should be able to remove it yourself, but you might need to ask your web host to help you.
when an account is created on the server, that is the address you can go to even if there is no domain pointing to the server. http://ip-address/~username/ nothing to worry about.
