This thread is intended to discuss about the efficiency of Google Analytics & Yahoo Web Analytics. I feel Yahoo ! Web Analytics outshinesGoogle Analytics because of the following reasons: * Better access control options and simpler approach to multi-site analytics * Larger default monthly page-view limits (200MM vs. 5MM – unless you have an active AdWords campaign) * Access to traffic data: Both vendors retain the right to hold and use your web analytics data for their own purposes, but only Yahoo! gives you the ability to export out your raw, unaggregated data * Longer historical availability of raw data More reviews appreciated
Hi , I agree with most of your points, however google wins on non-functionality issues like 1. Recent launch of API - pretty cool, yahoo analytic's api is still in private beta 2. Reach and content help ! Google's massive help is incredible for analytics and optimizer along with adwords. If someone really needs , they will certainly get help . Apart from that I agree with your points ! Thanks, Ravi
I really like google analytics. When used in conjunction with their other free services, it is a pretty powerful toolbox.
google analytics. fantastic, keep up the good work! give me anything I want to know about my website, I don't use yahoo web analytics.
Google analytics is still the best and way ahead of yahoo since yahooanalytis is still in beta. I might try yahoo in the future
have not heard of yahoo's version, nor have i heard of sitemeter - but seeing live hits would be nice
Google analytics is undoubtedly the best out of those. I use it much. It is best out there compared to the paid ones. Google is also adding new options for webmasters to get each and every data of their visitors.
I think Google Analytics provide more valuable information since you want to know what google see and likes. I think analytics have become better and better and provide almost all information i need nowdays. I hope they keep develop it and one tool is all i need.
I also use google analytics and I am very satisfied by them. Never tried yahoo web analytics but a friend of mine said that it is not that good.
