Hi, I had a little trouble integrating Google Analytics after having my website recoded; and instead switched to Woopra which works a treat. I wanted to ask if anyone has extensive experience with the two and in their opinion which is better (what is lacking in one that the other has?). Thanks, Antony.
It really depends on what you're trying to do with your analytics. If you're simply looking for a general idea of your traffic (e.g. weekly, monthly uniques), then any analytics service can do that for you. If you want to go deeper and truly make use of the power of the tools, here are a few of the main differences I've seen: 1. Woopra tracks at the individual level, Google Analytics gives you aggregate information 2. All of Woopra's features are real time, GA has only a real time dashboard 3. Woopra tracks custom events (i.e. actions) like when a visitor plays a video on your site, clicks an ad, signs up, makes a purchase etc. 4. Woopra allows you to integrate information about your site visitors like account info, purchase history etc 5. Woopra has some additional engagement tools that you can use with the analytics, like live chat, automations etc 6. Woopra has comprehensive iOS and Android apps, GA has some third party apps 7. Woopra has a Notifications feature that allows you to receive custom alerts on visitor behavior and demographics 8. Pricing - GA is free and has one paid enterprise plan, Woopra has a basic free plan as well as paid plans for businesses and custom plans for enterprises There are of course many more differences between the two, but these are just some of the highlights.
I have used both of them and experienced that Google Analytic is better. Can u please elaborate on what sort of prob are you facing with Analytics integration in your site. May be it can be solved. Because, with analytics you can track each activity of your site but it is not always true with Woopra.
After reading all above post, i think Woopra is quite interesting, i am going to try this. Thanks All
