Google Analytics VS StatCounter

I've been using Statcounter for years, but have recently discovered that Google seems to have a 'superior' product. I'm wondering if anyone has used them both and could compare them at all. It seems StatCounter does about the same thing. I tried Analytics once about 2 years ago, but I'm thinking they have streamlined it since then. Let me know what you think...

I think it depends on the volume of traffic you get.
Statcounter is good for sites that get maybe up to 100 visits a day, in which case the ability to see where an individual goes from page to page in the visitors path metric can be useful.
But once you've got more traffic, i think GA is better for analysing trends. It also 'archives' all data from the day you start an account, whereas Statcounter doesn't.

Google Analytics is way ahead of Statcounter when it comes to analysis, and at the end of the day that is what matters and that's what will help you improve your website for more visitor retention, conversion, etc... I think you should start using GA its much better then what it was 2 years back.
