On the dashboard, at the top it says I had 11 visits to my new blog yesterday. But under "Visitors Overview", it says 4 visitors for yesterday.

Is the Overview the unique visitors? And if so, what does the visits number mean?

This article might help: Google Analytics for n00bs

Visitors are actualy people that came to your website - visits are the number of times they go to your page.

So if I go to your website and look at 2 pages, you'd have 1 visitor but 2 visits because I'd have visited, say, once today and once yesterday.

    Hope I've explained ok!
