Google Analytics & time of day...

This is not really a complaint, considering Analytics is free and a great tool - but why don't they give you stats by time of day? This is an extremely important metric to me in my full time job, as well as my side businesses...especially as an AdWords user, and a marketer... Is it just not in high demand? Is it important to you?

I sent a request for this to the Analytics awhile back, but there was no feedback from them. I think that was the only email I sent that they never replied to.

Yeah i would like this too, awstats shows it. Helps to know what times of day users visit most - office hours or out of work - you get the idea.

This would be a great addition, but I don't see it in the future anytime soon.

I know what are the peak hours for my sites, using other stats programs.
For the, that information is useful only to make some updates on weekends at hours with less traffic.

Hourly stats has much more usage than just "best update" time.

Please, give me some examples because currently I'm not using that "valuable" info.

I use awstats for time of day info; it helps when I'm trying to figure out when to run CRON jobs...

This feature used to be there in the old Google Analytics layout, but when they launched the new layout with dashboard functionality, this feature was not there. I was really disappointed to see this feature going.

I hope they make this feature available soon.
