Google Analytics shows huge incomming traffic from Japan

Is anybody else experiencing this phenomena?
Since a few weeks ago a number of our websites has started to indicate a huge incoming direct traffic from Japan. The bounce rate is less than 10% and the average time on site is around 6-7 minutes. Weird ... as our website is in English and has absolutely nothing to do with Japan.

    Thx
    - Tony

during the past 2 days the direct traffic from Japan (based on Google Analytics) was 95%! That's kind of high. Also this traffic has only 4% bounce rate. Also traffic is coming from about 22 cities of Japan with about only 6% of new visits and average time on site - 9 minutes.

Try looking at the IP address. Maybe it's some spam attack. If you have the cpanel then you can look at the IP's from where the traffic is coming and then ban/block those IP's from accessing your website. Hope it helps.

Nothing like that has ever been experienced by me. I mean my websites are in English and I only get traffic from English speaking countries.
