I rmb there used to be a feature in analytics that shows how many ppl bookmarked your page, but I can't find it anywhere now in the dashboard. can anyone point me to the exact location (which section it is at)? or has the feature been removed?
can you check that? i dont think so. because when you do bookmark from your browser, google does not track that. unless if you can count from a bookmarking script
Yes, Google analytics used to show how many people have bookmarked our site but since they upgraded the Analytics to new version I don't see that feature. May be they have not included in this new version.
I don't recall ever seeing that, nor do I think it's possible. No browser that I am aware of notifies a third party (or a Javascript callback function) when a site gets bookmarked. The closest thing is the "Direct Traffic" statistic, which includes bookmark traffic as well as type-in/copy and paste traffic.
G analytics don't have such a feature But Awstats in Cpanel has such feature...But it is not accurate though..
huh? anyway, I think what vpguy said is close to what I am talking about. Analytics used to show traffic from bookmarks or something close to that. I was pretty sure theres something about bookmarks in there, but can't seem to find it.
