Google Analytics reporting 4000% increase in visitors after upgrading tracking code

    Replaced the code (new ga.js) on all pages (footer template in vBulletin), and now I'm getting 40.000 unique visitors/day instead of the 10.000 I had before? Got the same "issue" on a much smaller page (about a x2 increase), but on two other sites there's no difference. This is for 4 days in a row now.

    I'm a tad confused.

    Isn't it 400% increase (4 times)? 400% seems far more acceptable than 4000% ;)

    What should I do to get replace my old urchin code to new one (ga.js) and what are the main advantages to do that ?
