In case people missed it, Google made an announcement this morning about a new "real-time" feature coming to Google Analytics. It looks pretty slick... http://analytics.blogspot.com/2011/09/whats-happening-on-your-site-right-now.html
Thanks for the important sharing. Would you please tell us what will be the Advantage(s) / Information of the new "Real-time" feature?
Cheers for the heads up.. i noticed just before some "Google Live Search" as i was typing a search query, the analytics will be interesting tho.
Well, hard to say if anything will be free FOREVER (forever is a long time), but I believe the plan is that it will be free.
We got the real-time stuff enabled for our Analytics account, and i have to say... it's pretty sweet. Here's a little clip showing one of the pages (there are other pages too of course). This is for forums.digitalpoint.com.
woahh.. thanks for sharing.. because a few days ago i see the analytic don't have "real time" feature.
The best thing about this real time reports is it shows all the Pageviews that started in just last 60 seconds. It gets update continuously without even pressing update button. It will help a lot to monitor the web traffic impact at the time of specific events. Internet marketing strategies can be planned in a better way with these real time reports. wow this looks amazing really great and useful looks much better than old version of google analytics
Hahaha. Yeah that's what I thought. Only large enterprises may be able to use them though I am very intrigued with the difference in between the normal, standard one and the premium one.
I am going to pop over to analytics and setup my system. I had heard it was going real time but, "it slipped my mind". Nice screen shot. It makes my mind fire a few chemical bursts of excitement.
