Google Analytics Question

For some reason, on my Google Analytics account.... under "Average Time on Site" ..... around 90% of it says "0.00 seconds"

    How could that be?

I mean, even if the site was horrible --- it would at least be 1 second

Is it a glitch with Google Analytics?

Has anyone experienced this as well??

For analytics to get a time other than "0.00 seconds" on the site, you need to have you visitors visit at least 2 pages, If someone visits one page and closes the browser then there is no way of telling how long they were on that page..
Let me explain, If I go to your site and spend 1 minute on a page then navigate to another page in your site, then analytics will be able to tell how long I was on that page, because of the time difference between landing on the first page and moving to the next page, if I stay on the second page for 1 minute then navigate to another page in you site before closing the browser, then the time shown in the stats that I was on your site would be 2 minutes (even if I was on the last page for ten minutes)

So if someone comes to your site and stays on one page for ten minutes and does not go anywhere else on your site, then there time will be recorded as 0.00 seconds.

    I hope that makes sense,

    Cheers
    James

Well, there is no glitch it seems you have placed the analytic tracking code at the wrong place which is active of short duration close to nil.

OMG THAT MADE ME LOOOL SO HARD

haha, he means like bots and scripts etc.

Bounce rate (also called % Exit) is a term used in website traffic analysis. A Bounce occurs when a website visitor leaves a page or a site without visiting any other pages before a certain session timeout elapses. ...
