Google Analytics Question -- What is "other" traffic?

Discussion in 'Google Analytics' started by fireboat, Apr 9, 2008.

In my Google Analytics statistics, it says my traffic is as follows:

    • 47% search engines
    • 5% direct traffic
    • 46% referring sites
    • 1% other

    Where/what is "other" traffic?

    Just wondering. Thanks.

Good question fireboat, I assume that are visits that Google can find out or understand which the referer is...

Paid traffic referrers are included if you check the Full Report Traffic Sources...

Not sure, but I think "other" is traffic with undetectable IP address.

Other includes the visits of bots..that could be traced by traffic log files...
