What is the best way to use google analytics for multiple sites?

use one account per site
or one account per multiple sites.

 

I use one account for all of my sites, you can add multiple site profiles to one account. Makes everything easier to manage too.

I think they actually look down on multiple accounts, no?

Use it the way you like. I think most the people like to have all sites in single account, that is easy to maintenance.
