    hello

I get this message when logging into GA:

" Universal properties created prior to December 2013 may temporarily report doubled Visits counts between the hours of 0500-0800 in the View timezone. This issue corrects itself automatically. We are working on a fix to address this issue as soon as possible. "

    How to fix this ?

    Thank you

It's nothing to worry about. They're shifting all accounts and properties to Universal Analytics, and hence they're informing you that your stats might get counted twice, if you had properties using Universal Analytics created before Dec 13. So if you observe all your stats are doubled, don't worry about it. Its temporary and they'll fix it.

Google analytics have changed the terminology now. Previous "Visits" are named as "Sessions" now and "Unique Visitors" are named as "Users". To increase the scope of analytics Google has made several changes and to bring all different versions of Google analytics coding under one roof, they have started this exercise which will be sorted soon and as a webmaster you should not have to worry. As you can see that previous GA code was related to desktop website only. Now it has made compatible for tracking mobile website as well other subdomains, multiple domains, display advertiser etc.

So ultimately the change is good for better tracking of the websites.
