Something I always felt Google Analytics was missing (being able to see historial trends with things like browser marketshare and operating system use). So I made a little tool that lets you do it (uses data via Google Analytics API). https://tools.digitalpoint.com/analytics-charts Some examples... Percentage Of Traffic By Sub-Continent Percentage Of Traffic By Source (we get TONS of visitors from Google search these days) The rise of Chrome and fall of Internet Explorer Macintosh marketshare 260% today vs. 2006 etc... you can see other things like the rise of mobile traffic, screen size/color depth over time, Java use, etc.
It's kind of nice being freed up from spending all my time (more or less) rewriting the site, so I can get back to making NEW stuff.
That's really cool, Shawn. Looks much better than what Google produces. What a tiny marketshare IE has.
Just added a bit of a "special" dimension option to the charts (not a normal Analytics dimension, which all the others are)... "Search Keywords Provided" allows you to see how Google has stopped telling you what search queries people are using to find your site (basically people using SSL Google search won't show you the keywords).
