Google Analytics overwhelmed and not taking any more sites

I hope everyone who wanted to sign up for Google Analytics did so before they stopped taking people. I am being told that they have shut off new sign ups due to being overwhelmed unexpectadly by people siging up. Intersting article here from Nov 16th

Yeah I noticed, but even from when I signed up a week ago my stats are still waiting for data. Clearly slammed

I got in, but a lot of good that's done. No data for days... it's really disapointing.

Same here... Got data the 15th and the 16th until 8am then nothing until the 17th 6am. Now it's dead since the 19th 9am or so.

Very disapointing that a company like Google couldn't forecast a strong demand. Jeez... Urchin it's like a Vette. If it's free, you get a strong demamd.

I'm getting data on some sites for yesterday (Sunday, 20th) but not others. Sure wish I had signed up all my sites!

Note that you can submit your name and email, to be notified when you can "join."

I saw mention of a limit of 40 sites per account, which I didn't know existed.
