Google Analytics or Webalizer

I have installed Google Analytics on my website and I also have Webalizer that reads the server logs available to me.

But I am wondering. What's the advantage of using Google Analytics? Does it give more information than I could get just by looking at Webalizer output.

    Advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

You can't really do compare them, simply use the ones you like..
Am using Google Analytics and Webalizer as well as stat counter some times, but I still prefer Analytics though ;)

Google analytics analyze the hits on each pages, but Webalizer analyze every hit on your site(including non-page hits). Google analytics offer comprehensive and graphical analysis, but Webalizer's analysis is simple. For me, I usually use Google analytics, in some cases, i use Webalizer.

Google analytics won't work with everything

So I'm forced to use webalizer or something else on pages that analytics doesn't work on

I personally think that webalizer is far too limited...especially with how far in depth they go. I would much rather use Google Analytics.
