You should try the many other free web stats tools out there. You are really missing out if you have only tried these two! I'd say, at least try four other tools for one month and see if you can gain better insights over the narrow options listed here. Your website (and profits) will thank you for it!
I'm using both... What I like about statcounter is that, the result in stats info is in real time. While on analytics, it gives you almost complete data or resource in a particular span of date/ time....
Why are the stats so different between GA, statcounter and Feedburner? GA often reports the least number of visitors of the three tracking services. Yes, Google Analytics provides data on bounce rate, page views, etc. but in terms of visitors , statcounter reports larger numbers of unique and return visitors. Even Feedburner does and I'm sure there would be some overlap between them and GA.
I use StatCounter, the free version, have done for the last couple of years. That's my bug-bear about Google, no real-time raw data to display, unless I'm missing something.
Mostly, I'm using google Analytics B'coz it update data in real time, google anlytics gives data perfectly with countrywise, keyword, landing page, bounce rate .... and more..... basically it filtering data, and display easily as well as understand easily by users.
Hi, I like Google analytics account that's Why i am using Google analytics account, Google analytics shows all details about your site, Present , Past Only single Day Traffic Thanks
I use both! Statcounter for micro level (individual visitor data - subject to the max log size) and Google analytics for the macro level information.
Google Analytics consistently underreports actual activity while StatCounter consistently over reports. These differences have been attributed to the fact that Google does not record JavaScript disabled visitors of any kind while StatCounter records image-enabled bots, but not all http://middlekingdomlife.com/wp/op-...ces-between-statcounter-and-google-analytics/
