This is by far the easiest to use stats system I've ever seen.

Not only is it easy, but it's also one of the most full featured. For example, it does a good job at letting you define "goals" and how many of your users achieve those goals (maybe they buy something). There is a "Site Overlay" view where you can see what percentage of users clicked on any link (in a nice graphical format). And lots of other neat stuff that Urchin 6 does.

This is amazing. One of the compelling reasons I changed hosting recently was for the better stat options - which I am completely addicted to. This however takes the cake!

Shame it's not a standalone product. The need to add code into the pages means you can't import old data.

sucks to be in the web stats / analytics stats business !

Urchin, ( now google analytics ) is very very good for seo stats.

They have graphs over time per-keyword. So you can get a graph of traffic over time on a per-keyword base!

I always dreamed using Urchin since I tried it long time ago but $499 per month was killing me even at $199 a month it was too expensive.

Dreamed and dreamed to see it at a lower price but never even in my wildest dreams it was for free!

Darn it under maintenance and can't signup.... YET

Update, I'm in.... wow Urchin free....

Yes, my thoughts exactly. They're not doin this to be pretty. I suspect there's more to the picture than a few cute graphs - I do wonder where/how all the metrics will wind up being used.. they'll certainly be able to keep a refined eye on their competitors.

Nice offering tho. It's a great product :)

I think the main thing from G's point of view is to encourage people to use adwords. It's free ut to 5 mill page views and then after that you have to have an active adwords account. It also integrates with the adwords interface making it very attractive to anyone with a ppc campaign\budget to use adwords over yahoo\ms.

Can someone from DP make this a sub-forum? This will grow and spin-off many new threads for sure.

Dang, I wish my largest site had SSIs. Adding the code manually to every page will be a challenge.
