Google analytics not working?

Discussion in 'Google Analytics' started by webmasterlabor.com, May 24, 2006.

I installed Google Analytics code on 2 heavily trafficked sites 2 days ago. I double checked the code but they are still both showing ZERO traffic? I mean, I made product sales of over $500 on one site but it shows zero traffic at Google Analytics.

    Anyone have this problem?

Yep. So I'm still confused why this is the case. My product sales site is cranking out sales as usual but it still shows zero traffic at Google Analytics. Hmmmm:confused:

I used a version of Urchin before on my site. When I set up Google Analytics it did not work until I removed all the Urchin tracking codes.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. It's working nicely now. Funky stuff.... typein traffic = best kind of traffic for conversions.

Google doesn't play nice with some other javascripts, including two copies of their own tracker, or some Urchin code.

They also get backlogged sometimes and the reports won't update until their servers catch up in the processing.

Yep, I notice that. Somewhat uneven in terms of updates from time to time.
