I have a site with more than 1000 visitors per day.It is in the top 10 results for almost all the targeted keywords. But since the last few days the results shown by google analytics shows 100 - 200 visitors per day where as my awstats results have not been affected..My SERP to are the same as before..I thought its a temporary problem but it is not over yet..My other sites in the analytics accounts have not been affected and they show proper results..so please let me know what to do?

Have you made any changes to your site? Such as changing a theme or template? Havae you made sure that the google analytics code is on all of the pages of your site?

google analytics directly measures the traffic with a script, so its about as accurate as you can get.

For this time of year, its normal for traffic to go down. Kids are out of school, people are going on vacation, families are going to visit friends and other family members,,, and other things. People are out enjoying the warm weather instead of sitting at a computer. So you might experience a drop in traffic.

Yes. try to reinstall the analytics code. You probably have damaged somewhere the code on some of your page.

The analytics code might not be showing up properly on some of your pages and this could have resulted in the same showing you incorrect stats.

You should try re-installing the same again and see if that makes any difference. The difference in your visitor stats is substantial and there is definitely some problem in recording by the analytics.

Different traffic stats tool shows different results but there is not much difference between them.
