Google Analytics misses half my conversions

    Hi,
I'm currently using Google Analytics to manage my campaigns. It has been ok, but everyday
I get about 2x as many conversions as Google thinks I do. Also, I have started testing out
PPC campaigns in Bing and Facebook, which adds to the complexity of conversion tracking.

Does anyone have any insights as to why Analytics misses half of the conversions?

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for managing the campaigns effectively? I would like to get accurate conversion tracking segregated by traffic source, so that I can know what is working and what is not working well. Any software recommendations?

    Thanks for your help!

I am using the goals in the analytics and I get correct results. When you set up the goal, what type of match did you use? Has your "thank you" page always the same URL or does the URL depend on the product which your visitors order? Incorrect settings in the match type may be the reason why some of the sales are tracked and others not.
