Google Analytics tells me there a few people coming from a certain keyword/phrase, but when I search the keyword/phrase in google, I can't find my website. Anyone know what's going on?

Maybe that keyword/phrase is from other search engine. You can discover that on Google Analytics too.
Another option is a search made on pictures.google.com
But if you want to be sure, you'll need to check your raw logs (referer field)

yeah, those keywords could have come from any search engine. Moreover, who knows what rank your site was on for that keyword. Many a time has my site been visited by someone who was on page 7 at least of the search engine rankings for a certain keyword.

Google displays search results diffrent from location to location. If that keyword is not in the top in your region it might be in another. So SERP's are diffrent for example from the West Coast and the East Coast or even in smaller units.
And use a keyword tool like that from digitalpoint to find out how good your positions are for a keyword:
