yes, google analytics is good, because of it gives tracking of our website, how many visitors comes in a day, week or month, it also gives geographical state, visitors comes to this region or country, city ...... it also gives the unique visitor and returning visitor so google anlaytics is more useful......

 

Google analytics is an amazing tool. If you have a php site, just install the code on the main ".php" page where the script is going to pull off all the other pages on the index. if you are using wordpress or sometthing similar update the main template file.

 

Analytics is great. Just depends on what information you're looking for. It's also good to have log files and google analytics. If you have the money, you can also use Omniture.

I have the same problem, the result from Google analysis is difference from Awstats.?? Which is more precise?

 

google analytics is good.i am using this and i think there is little bit difference in total no. of visitor by awstats and google analytics

I see a lot of these occurrences of differentiations when it comes to traffic statistics. From personal experience, I'd go with Analytics. Definitely more precise, in depth, and the team at Google for sure knows what they're doing.
