Probably a simple answer, but here's the question: I want a list of the top 500 cities that visit my site. If I go into map overlay in GA I can drill into the US and then I have two options: 1) Drill into city - shows me the city data for that state 2) Select "city" as the detail level Problem with solution #1 is I have to click into 50 states. And with #2 I only get city. #2 would be perfect if I could find a way to pull in the "region" (state) info as a column in the report. I was hoping a custom report would allow me to select two dimensions next to one another, but no luck. Any ideas?
Google Analytics, I began to use 3 weeks ago. I liked the service. I've posted the best online store security systems and communications All recommend!
Okay, I found a solution so I thought I'd post it here for anybody interested: I created a custom report with all the same blue metrics at the top (Visits, Pages/Visit, Avg. Time on Site, % New Visits, Bounce Rate, and then made “Country/Territory†the main dimension and then made city the “after†drill down dimension (green). After I run the report, there's a second dimension dropdown that appears next to City where you can select Region. BAM!
