Hi to All. Tell me please, if you now: Can Yahoo marketing campaigns, msn adcenter campaigns be properly displayed in the google analytics? Like AdWords divided into campaigns with the analytics throuh each campaign? I just want to have all information on analytics in one place.
No but I can tell you a good script for tracking them: TrackPoint I have never used it but it looks good. I checked out the demo and it gives you plenty of control and reporting options.
I tried a TrackPoint demo, and decided that Google analytics is better, and it's free Now to track my Yahoo & MSN campaigns I added next parameter to each destination URL: www.templatesflow.com/?agent=yahoo (or msn). Its not the perfect solution - but its free. P.S. and I think that if you have enough money you can use Google Analytics & TrackPoint, it will be almost perfect solution, but this is only my opinion
It's just a small snippet of java code. Does not slow the site down noticably, if at all. It's more accurate than you realize. I think. Because its java based, and resides on your pages, not the server stats, it only counts real visits to your sites by humans. It ignores all the bots and spiders and other automated stuff. Your server stats pick all, or most, of these up. So when your server stats tells you you had 300 uniques and your Google stats says you only had 150, well you only had about 150 real unique, live people, view your site. You may wish the 300 was true, but its not. Who cares about the bots and crawlers, they don't mean anything. They cant click your ads or buy your stuff, or read your content, so why bother counting them.
