Google Analytics - Exclude IP adresses

Discussion in 'Google Analytics' started by Ferris James, Feb 9, 2018.

We have set up filters on all IP addresses so our company is not included in Google Analytics data. We are still seeing our referring URL’s appearing (Our staging site) being included in the google analytic stats. This suggests that the filtering is not working correctly.

    example:
    Filter type: Predefined
Exclude: Traffic from the IP addresses that are equal to
    IP address: xx.xx.x.xxx

Can anyone advise whether this correct? Or if anything is missing?
    Thanks

In the filter there is option to exclude IP addresses in the range. Try to do this.

check your server logs. may be you are missing some IP's
if all IPs are in the same subnet like 10.10.1.xxx then you should add a range of IPs in the filter.

May be someone is working from home.. and you see all those pageviews
