    Hi Friends,
Here's the site traffic data for last month for my sports based website:

I am thinking to make an 'advertise with us' page. Depending upon the site traffic, what would you suggest would be an appropriate rate to set???

My current income from the site is around $100/month with that traffic. Would something like $10/month for site wide banner be appropriate?? I am really concerned on the "Average Time on Site" & "Pages/Visit" numbers above as they appear to be relatively low. I would appreciate if someone can shed some thoughts. I know it's hard to get a benchmark but what should be the stats for a site which earns like $500/month??

    Thanks

I think you should earn at least 500 for that traffic, so I think your ad placement isn't good, or your niche isn't paying well. So why don't you try some affiliates like CJ and Linkshare?

I know PR should not be a concern when marketing, but before purchasing ad space it is good to know the PR what is yours? From what I have read PR 7 usually charges $100 monthly.

It depends on your website, but if it's sport related web site located in western europe or america I'm certain you could get more money from betting companies, try CJ and get affiliate networks.

With that kind of traffic, it's worth much more than a mere $10/month. I'm not sure how high you can get, but it's up to you to set a price which you are comfortable with and then convincing the buyer that it is worth that much. Good luck.

Phew, took me 30 minutes to login today but finally in .. monday rush i guess!!!

OK getting back to the thread topic. Thanks to all of you for your time and valuable feedback. I am also posting the adsense data for this month and the site URL, might be it will help the experts analyze the site better.

My site PR is 3 and I am not sure it's the niche which is cricket. The site URL is:

    http://tinyurl.com/b9cr2v

After all this, I am a bit surprised with the earnings. I am able to get the traffic but I am not earning much from the site. I tried to spend a lot of time before (the site is 2 years old) on forums etc but "effort vs earnings" was not great and this is dampning my spirits.

I tried CJ as well but no luck. What do you think I am doing wrong? I am even ready to hire someone if he can really help me increase the earnings.

Again, your pointers would be greatly appreciated.
