Google analytics code

Hi ,

Can anyone please let me know why we need to add the google analytics code at the bottom before the end of body tag ...why can't we add it in the head tag...?

 

..because it takes time to load the tracking. So if you put it to the bottom, your website content will load first then the code. i hope it makes sense.
BTW, there is a new code from google, which you can put in the header!! just google it.

 

If they advice how use and where to use then why these kind of stupid questions asking.

This is not a stupid question... Daniel has given the correct answer for my question....the reason we add google analytics code in the bottom is to track the page loading time... If we add the code in the headtag we cannot track the visitors count who exit from the page before loading.....so make sense right....

 

yea so we can track the vistors before they leave

Yupz...it's about Tracking. If it put on the end of body tag...,They can give You complete analyze which reported on Your Google Analytics dashboard. But now a New Question emerged: why does the new code placed on the header???!
