Hi Everyone, When using Google Analytics, do you think Google uses data from Google Analytics for SERP for your site? Since last week my SERPs have dropped a lot, and I remember that about 1,5 week ago, I gave Google access to use my data. Could it be Google takes into account the amount of visitors my site gets and thinks that the amount of visitors is low so it should be low in the SERP? Steven
They could take look on site statistics on Google Analytics but will definitely not use it as ground to rank sites in SERP's. Beside Analytics could help your site. Maybe it's other aspect rather than in Google Services.
No soolmaan, read this http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=70897&query=pagerank&topic=&type=

Although it is possible I seriously doubt this to be true. Google seems to be quite fair in their aproach and this would be a serious breach of trust. I think the fall in your rank is just a c incidence to you sharing your analytics data with Google. It is quite possible the decline is temporary.
Studies have shown that your Google Analytics stats have a minor effect on your ranking. Google is considering three things from your stats: - Number of visits - Time spending on your site (why some video sites are ranking above blogs). - Bounce Rate
I hope it has something to do with PR my site, my site is still 0 but its getting so much impressions
you need to revise your website content, or one more possibillity that you may have stop building links for your website, just start building links, every thing will be fine. as google now considers good pr site to show them up in the listings, as this news also published. i dont have that news url but it was posted over here by the senior member "Mr. Jim" .
