    Hello Digital Point Experts,

    Here is my issue.

I asked someone I am doing business with to place my Google Analytics code snippet on their website so that I could track the statistics. But I am not sure if I can trust them to place the code on the site in question.

How can I verify the URL of the website that the code was placed on? (the site that produced the traffic stats)

I was experimenting today and you can place the Google Analytics code on any website and it will record the resulting statistics on the same dashboard.

    Anybody care to answer this?

If you have an access to FTP from where you upload your website pages then just insert the google analytics tracking code above the </head> section. You will have to this code on every page of thea website. If you have million pages and have a backend admin option then just insert this code in the master file. It is easy to install basic analytics code. There are many hindrances while inserting the conversion tracking code or any other code. But you can insert the basic code.
