Google Analytics and tracking

    I've set analytics code on my homepage and the question is :

    Does then analytics only track homepage traffic or traffic of hole site ?

    Because I've seen a big losing of traffic on analytics and awstats says that my traffic is the same.

    I think you need to have the tracking code in every single file/page you want to track.

    but it could be done easily if you are using a blog
