Google Analytics and SEMRush show different monthly visitors

    Hi everyone,

Well, it's not a major problem but I've observed that the Google Analytics and the SEMRush show different monthly visitors on my blog.

While Google Analytics shows around 10k visitors a month, SEMRush shows around 16-18k visitors a month.

So my question is that would it be ethically wrong if I boast SEMRush's traffic on different forums instead of the Google Analytics?

And, why are they two different?

    Thank you.

Generally, the consensus is that Google Analytics is more accurate than most other counters. I would report what Google Analytics is saying, rather than SEMRush.

If you are measuring the traffic report for the Google then you should go with the Google Analytics Report.
