    Hi everybody,

I have a website ...and a second domainname that only redirects to this site.

When i'm using Google Analythics, adding the url of my website and the trackingcode properly into the pages ...will the visits of my other domainname (redirect) appear in Google Analytics?

    Kind regards,
    ZenSeo

Assuming when someone search in Google click on your other domain URL and comes to your website, this will be counted as an organic search visit from Google to your website. Meaning one visit will be counted as organic visit to your website.

This is possible only if you redirect through 301, if you just linked your site with other domain then this will be counted as referral traffic. Meaning there will be one count for each site.

If a user lands up to your other website at first, and then that visit will become a refferal visit.

Under Traffic Source > Refferal> Your Other Domain Name

You will find limited information about the visit generated from redirected domain.

Hope this gives a little clarity!
