Google analytics and Keyword planner

I think Keyword planner is not good if we want to check monthly searches for some word.
Example for keyword : Games, on old Google analytics monthly searches was about 900 million and on Keyword planner is only 13 milions monthly searches for keyword : Games.

What you folks say about that?

 

Keyword planner, has an option for selecting country. Check if you have selected a country for your keyword. For Global it can be 900 millions monthly searches and for an individual country it should be 13 millions.

 

Ok here is for global and still is 13 milions for keyword : Games

I think its Google AdWards keyword tool (Not Google Analytics) and Keyword Planner.

In old Google Ad-words google shows Broad keyword search but in new one it shows only exact/phases search volume that's why its changed.

 

Google keyword tool was really good for collecting popular keywords for SEO. That is why Google change it into Keyword Planner, which is not such convenient.
