I recommend Wordpress software. install it on your web hosting panel and install google analyticator plugin and enter the code generated on google analytics you will get the analytics

 

Google also gives you an option to save their code in a file at root folder of your hosting file manager.

I found it the easiest way because it is always verified in the very first attempt.

 

But what is the reason for it not getting installed????

 

I am suggesting use <script> to verify it. Put that script between head tags.

 

how I can use wp software ? If I need to use it without wp then Can I use it ?

how I can keep the code in file manager ?

Can I copy the code in header section and G automatically accept it

Put the code before </head> tag.
if you don't know HTML then do to Design part << add page element << select HTML or Javascript << put script << save << DONE

Thats my way. Choose what to choose.

 

just copy and paste the Google Analytics code in to your website's body section to all pages.I use this and there is no problem with me.
Can any one suggest the easier way than that.

google analytics can be verified for blogspot.com. Reason is, it is free and you don't own the space. You only have the previlage for publishing your thought. So, first own a hosting space and domain of your own. Then you can have this feature

 

In your Google analytics account, your key will be mentioned, copy it, paste it in a txt file, rename file as per shown in Analytics account and then upload in the root folder at your hosting.

 

You can verify your Google analytics and webmaster tools through scripts you dont need to put that file in your root folder.

 

Installing a google analytic on a site never create any issue but installing google analytic on blogspot is completely diffrent thing as here with every page analytic coding go to different page as every post create new page so make sure that you keep coding maintain so that whenever you add new post must add that coding to that page

yeah i would just go with the script method, no need to be uploading files to your root folder
