Hello Digital Point World, We manage Many Google Analytics Accounts for our clients. Our client center gives us access to all of them. Over the last few days we noticed that a lot of accounts are no longer there. I have heard that Google had a server or two go down, but they won't verify. has anyone had this problem, or can anyone point us in the right direction? Thanks,
No problem with me so far. Perhaps it is worth contacting goole support for more information and advice?
Thanks for the info! Our clients have not jumped ship, we know becuase they are calling us asking why they can't access their GA accounts. We double checked with our developers to verify the tracking code is still within the site....its creepy....Like the accounts are no longer there and Google won't step up to the plate. Does any one have a support # or Google Analytics Professional we can speak with? Thanks
You mentioned master client center. What happens when you try to login to each one? Originally there is an account made with a unique UN and pass. You should be able to login that way. For now give that to your clients until Google sorts it out with you. My experience has been they are generally good at getting back with MCC users especially.
It could be that the owner removed the tracking codes. Contact Google asap , they do reply to important messages.
Hersheys - Thanks for the thought in helping us trouble shoot. We created the majority of the accounts using our google account. Once the GA accounts were created i would add the client's google account as an additional user. However, now when they are logging into the GA account they are kicked out and are unable to log-in. I am attempting to contact Google Again and will keep you posted. Thanks again, Shellerz and Vigor - Thanks for you responsesas well.
So....After weeks of emails back and fourth with Google....The accounts are restored! Some how, Some way, they were deleted from my account. Weird, I have been doing this stuff for years, trust me, i did not delete the accounts!
I believe that this could be a case of either the codes were removed (by clients or by you accidentally) or if you are combining 2 legacies which Google discourages today. Not really sure but did you check out with your client? I have so many Analytics accounts but so far nothing like yours ever happened to me.
