Hi! I use Google analytics log period of time. My some of the blog post has 100% bounce rate, that mean Average time on the site is "00:00:00". However those higher bounce rate post are in top 10 results more than since i posted them. So is this bounce rate true? But my blog normal page loading time is 3 seconds (average) so this "00:00:00" time is correct? If those post have "00:00:01" or higher result then its OK. So please explain me this 100% issue. How Google calculate bounce rate? If someone come to my blog post via Google.com and he read entire blog post and he/she spend 5 minutes for that, and he close the web browser tab, for exit from my blog. Then my bounce rate is 100%? if he navigate to home page or any other page, then my bounce rate decrease? Thanks!
I have known how GA calculate bounce rate but I think if 100% bounce rate means all visiter view 1 times (at one page) and leave after that?
100% bounce rates means just if any user come on your site and don't see any thing just close it so that the bounce rate would be 100%.
I dont think GA is always correct, try using another company like awstats or something else, I get some weird stats some times...
100% means no one like your content. Or it is just irrelevant and users who gets there looking for something else.
But if the user need to read only landing page, other pages he/she don't want to read. Then this method is not correct? This method we can't correctly identify user like it or not.
Landing page can show all that they want. GA tools only is a machine. So it don't explain why they left soon afterwards
You little bit confused, if he like the content he will at least stay to read your landing page, if he does you won't get bounce, you get it only when he leaves immediately, if you got him for few seconds no bounce will appeare. Try a little trick, shut some short and interesting video clip about what you got on your site and host it on the page you analizing, usualy it will hold him on the page at least a while, then see the difference. If you still get 100% bounce rate, maybe it is time to remove that image with ugly hairy face from your page! ))
Thanks friend! But some people said that Google start count bounce rate if visitor navigate from landing page another page? That mean if "A" visitor come to "page one" and he stay 10 minutes in that page and he close the tab, then i have 100% bounce rate? Am i correct or wrong? Thanks!
Mmm. I will give you one advice that may help you in the future. Google is not your enemy, if you can take a look at things from they point of view you will realise a situation a little bit better. Google main purpose to make users happy. So if you look at your situation this way you will see that if your user spent 10 minutes on your site reading it, that means he didn't bounce back. If you throw the ball in to something and it bounce back it will happen immediately, not 10 minutes after. So I guess now you realised what mean bounce!?
