google analytic VS Awstats
i have note some different stats between alanlytic and awstats
my awstats are higher than analytic

???????

 

I prefer awstats ...

Same here, I also prefer awstats...

 

May be because of not placement of analytics code in every page of the site.. Is it so ?

Google analytics is good. I've also been toying with smarterstats but find it's filtering to be less then effective.

The google data seems sound but I wish it had more flexibility.

 

I like awstats ,....but i prefer analytic for the Geostats

I was always checking my stats with Awstats. However, I just installed G Analytics on my sites 2 days ago and I must say I like G Analytics much more. It shows from which US states your visitors come from (Awstats doesn't) and also if you run an Adwords campaign, it even shows the searched keyphrases and your ads position. You wouldn't find this in Awstats.

 

I prefer google analytics over awstats any day.

 

Awstats is better for sure Google Analytics may look pretty but is not as accurate because Awstats uses your sites log files.

I heard awstats the first time only now.

 

awstats is better in my opinion.

 

Well both are very good but i use google analytics just because i got used to it.

 

for me analytics! in awstat admin can filter or control the traffics, in awstat all the figures are shown you just need to study it and another one is that there is a goal conversion in analytics.

 

Haven't used awstats, but Analytics is sweet as a nut
