Google analytic gone crazy. How can no of UV be so less?

This is what my Google Analytical report says

22.6K visits out of which 9.8K is through search engine and the total no of UV is only 3663. How can this be possible? It's less than my search engine traffic. How can only 3K visitors come to my site through 9K searches?? Let alone the rest 13K visits.

This is crazy. Anybody else noticed such weird results?

Consider to check your stats with other tools, also check your log file.

It's screwed. I reported it last week and got email back saying they are investigating.
On my side, it also reports 12% new visitors, while the real data is 88%.
Been this way since the launch of the new ga.js

What figure do you have under the 'Site Usage' heading for 'Visitors'? I have found that this figure more acurately reflects those used in the Traffic Sources Overview.

guidyy, if you have access to one for your site you might want to take a look at your error log file. I have noticed on a couple of occassions that I get an error for a missing ga.js file. There appears to be an intermittent failure of the new code being able to determine the https settings and ends up trying to load the file from the local server instead of remotely from Google servers.

I have only access to last 2000 rows of my error logs, but so far, I didnt not find any 404 for ga.js
I'll keep a closer eye on it.

Edit: As for site usage, it show the exact figure of new vs returning visitors.
It seems to me the problem is only on the overview, while every single report looks much more accurate. Too bad it mess up the stats...

    Thanks for the advice.
