    Hello,

Elmo you should defiantly get into a different line of work, because you have no clue what you are talking about. That is why everybody on this thread is disagreeing with you. As well I doubt that any company that earns millions has ever worked with you, when companies like SEO.com and experts such as Aaron Wall exist.

As for getting around Google Analytics, I do not know if you want a medal or something but 90 percent of people that browse and shop online are not doing this. So yes if you want to keep track of idiots that are just messing around you go ahead but I am trying to track data that is useful to my company.

Finally, the scripts you use are mostly made by just a random person, and you are putting a lot of faith into them when you are messing with a company's server files to implement this script. On top of that many of the scripts that are anywhere near reliable cost money. So instead of paying money to implement a script, I think everyone but you agrees that using Google Analytics is the better and easier option.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Relax what? Just saying Analytics is far from the best option, but if it's the best you have ever used well go for it.

Auditing and security does when the backend gets injected, customer data get's stolen and that sort of thing. But if your fine with people trying to run RFI/CSRF/XSS numbers on you every day without having a clue they are even on your site, i'm sure Godaddy will re-up last weeks backups if you ask them nicely.

I only use analytics on a few sites, mostly I use statcounter...analytics works well but i feel the big G already has enough info on my through adsense and other channels.

I don't trust G Webmaster Tools anymore though, I built a number of fairly "light" affiliate stores last year, only a couple were de-indexed but they were from the few I had added to WMT, same thing happened to someone else I talked to.

I've never heard penalizing their sites just for using analytics.

Google analytics is nothing to do with penalize .
Google analytics is a tool just to display the traffic status . it does not monitor the spam activity did by you
