Hi all, Im having a little trouble here with my site. I really want to use Google Analysis software to view details on users hitting my site, however, I built the site a long time ago as stand alone pages (and now there are a LOT of pages!). So there is no template or include files etc where you can just add a little snippet of code. It would appear I am going to have to cut and paste the snippet into hundreds of single html pages. Is there any way, anyone knows, how to insert the code quickly into each document? Maybe some scan and search software that goes through folders on your desktop and inserts that code into each document? Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
If you are using Linux, you can simply run a perl command. Here's a helpful resource: http://www.liamdelahunty.com/tips/linux_search_and_replace_multiple_files.php Otherwise if you are running in Windows, you could install perl or one of many shareware products which do the same thing.
