because Google is used my so many people, a lot of traffic is generated to good, large sites. But if something is wrong...almost everything is vanished.

People want things easy in life....and when it doesn't come easy.."sour grapes"...they blame Google for being "difficult".....90% of the webmasters doing the compaining do not have a site or content that is worthy of being in the top 10....
Hmm, not sure about "sour grapes" - I've found a number of bugs in Google in handling page names, 301 and so on. They are far from perfect. It also seems to me that Big Daddy has been a flop. I see more variation between datacentres (UK) now than ever before. I think they're in a bit of a mess on the quiet.
