    I dont think it is the Google alternative, the only alternative to Google in the feature is the merger of yahoo+MSN if it come true, if not, forget it.

    Google is a household name right now. I don't think a competitor can change that on their own. I think it will have to take some sort of media backlash to significantly hurt Google in the near future.
