google alternate adurl = whats this

    i just installed a adsense fridenly theme on my blog

    and changed the adsense codes in it
    but in one code there was this link


    google_alternate_ad_url = "";


    though it was empty?? whats this??

    can someone tell me pls

    If you want google to show non google ads when there is not sufficient advertisers for your site, then you can use the URL from where the non google ads will be fetched.

    Place the URL of a banner image or some other.. If you place an image's URL, that image will be placed instead of ads, IF YOUR SITE doesn't have any ads to display there.. This is a great way to skip Public Service Ads! :)
