Google announced an algorithm change to 11.8% of their U.S. search query results... What do you think of this article... just found it a while ago... http://blog.ezinearticles.com/2011/02/search-engine-algorithm-changes.html
Regardless of the article... Google results for the last few weeks have SUCKED for me. I'm getting the same domain 3-4 times resulting on only 3-4 domains on page 1.
Alica V. I think this is a planned strategy from Google. It forces competitors to buy adwords space if they want to buy a competitors keyword. Which means that the actually SEO results will only show the proper results.
Hi. You can find the explanation here: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/finding-more-high-quality-sites-in.html
That was back in March when they were responding to the PANDA update. Article directories took a huge hit, and they were just doing some damage control so people wouldn't stop using their website.
Highly disturbing factual news. Many does not know how really to cope up with it and its adverse effects.
I agree. This means a more unique content on each website is required. Good on minimizing the amount of trash on the internet.
hahahahahaha... oh man. ezinearticles, the shittiest repository with the shittiest system and the shittiest content going on and on about quality and announcing they'll nofollow everything in a blind panic, only to take it back right away because they realize people would stop spamming their crappy-ass directory with useless crap if it weren't for the links. i woulda paid $10,000 to be a fly on the wall in their office when that was going down. thanks for sharing that post. made my day.
