Hey all, can any one discuss about current Google algorithm and upcoming one? what is the main fact to get good result ?
Focus Focus on targeting a page and do so in order to provide the end user with the best result in order to out rank the competition. Nothing has changed in this regard since 1998 in essence. It is only periphery aspects and the odd game that keeps people jumping through hoops and second guessing that changes... So simply seek to provide the end user with the best answer to their search query whatever that might be. But focus using SEO as leaving out the focus for SEO will mean you won't get found as search engine spiders are even more stupid than people and they need to be able to measure the focus to find relevance. So don't forget the SEO as if it is not there to be read and read focused, it won't get found as relevant. Just do't fall into the trap of the black eye SEO's and rather do good SEO not manipulative SEO which is easy enough to do if you seek to provide the best most relevant answers.
Good focused on page content as slightly mentioned above. Just think of providing the best to readers whilst bearing in mind that search engines need the words in place to match up to queries. This is why the worse advice is to forget about SEO as some might tell you to do. You see if you want to get found for "Good places to visit in Uttar Pradesh" for example, those words must be on the page to match the search term. As it won't always be the places that people may be looking for, as this is what we might say is "secondary", once they know the names of those places. You should therefor aim to provide as much matching as possible (but that is not to say over do it and keyword stuff - just ensure the words are there). It is a lot of work and not easy by any means and takes time to do properly. People say forget SEO and don't worry about this, but Googlebot etc is not psychic so it must be able to read the words to match them with search queries so you get found as relevant. You have to think "what are people looking for" to find what you are providing. Once you master that you are well on the way to doing things the way they need to be done to get found for what you need.
SEO is a part of any good Internet Marketing Plan (in my opinion). I agree with Revelations-Decoder about targeting a page and providing the best possible results. Content is still essential.
Last penguin update also is basically that site target that have low quality content and link from low quality site so if you want to recover from that check and analyze your back link if you look any back link is coming from low quality site then go to webmaster and disavow that link after that you got some beneficial result.
The time is to do quality SEO work. Just make your site perfect from on-page SEO factor and try to get quality back links and traffic.
Oh please, stop talking like Fishkin from SEOMoz...Quality content (however that is defined) is definitely not enough to get you ranked. Maybe for very easy, uncompetitive and longtail searches but if you're trying to enter competitive niches you only get so far with onpage SEO. I've actually ranked tons of sites with bare minimum content on it (sometimes even just 1 image and 1 sentence with a link out to an authority site) and the biggest jumps in rankings still came from proper backlinking.
I find that content is always going to be #1. Backlinks will just boost that reputation to make you more recognized. Having the best content will not necessarily get you #1, links do that.
Being good at producing Quality, unique and relevant content on a consistent basis for your users is what matters according to Google. Especially post Penguin and Panda algorithm updates Google as always concentrated on what's good for its users and are now more than capable of weeding out any kind of spam from its search results.
I've been preaching this for some time now, but I'm confident that social bookmarking and social links will play a huge role in the future. Google wants to provide relevant content that people find to be good. One of the best indicators of that is social media activity. So, I think social media linkage will increase in authority. Also, people say that backlinks don't matter much, but in my opinion having "heavy hitter" backlinks will always play a part. But the thing is.. Nobody knows what the future of SEO will hold. Anyone who claims to, is only stating their opinion. It's hard enough to figure out the Google algorithms now. Let alone in 6 months.. 2 years.. 10 years.. The best bet? Create awesome content that people would actually like, and end up sharing. That's your best bet. :]
There is never going to be an easy answer to this. There are so many variants in play its about getting the right consistency. Will just quality content work? No. Will just good back links work? No. Will just fresh content work? No. A mixture of all the above along with a social presence might just work. Trying to second guess what the search engine algorithms are going to be is a waste of time. You can only work with what you know today
