For those using Google alerts, you may be interested to know that you can now get these delivered in RSS rather than email format. Very handy if you have a lot of alerts running and don't want them clogging up your inbox. For some reason I don't see this as an option when creating a new alert, but if you go to the Alerts management page you can choose "edit" and then "deliver to" to select RSS format for existing alerts. For those not using Google alerts, give them a go, they're useful
