Google Alerts - How to use it

I think this is really important to use if you are a company. Very important to research.

 

can also use it to check whether someone steals your content. That is how I find out about the theft.

 

I'm using google alert to keep track of how many times it is used to search my domain name. I'm also using it for the username tracking. sometimes username tracking gives you too many results so make sure your username is unique.

 

i use it also to search for new blogs that has my keywords, in this way i can go a comment them

 

Now that is a cool idea! I completely forgot about using Google alerts.

 

I've been using it even before, and now I still receive some notifications from Google. It was a great help for me because it informs me about the sites where my url are finally live.

Someone once told me that it would be sufficient to put

link:example.com

because this would also take whatever is before the domainname:

example.com
www.example.com
subdomain.example.com
https://www.example.com

I haven't checked myself whether this is correct, though.

Google alert is cool and very helpful in finding new blog's and new or any other stuff ..... i am using it to find the new blog's to comment on.
